We would like to take this opportunity to introduce Bnot, the sisterhood of Congregation Bnai Yeshurun, and to tell you a little bit about the programming and services that we coordinate. Our goal is to provide the Bnai Yeshurun community with a variety of events (unique and recurring) that help bring the members of our community together, as well as to provide communal services for various events within the life cycle. Our board members meet monthly to discuss events, coordinate programs, and plan forthcoming ones. The success of our programs depends on the support of you, our community. We rely on the volunteers who help in various capacities and encourage you to see if there is a way you would like to contribute to some of these great programs. Each family will receive a package with a community guide as well as a lovely housewarming gift. Please contact Debby at the CBY office (201-836-8916) if you know of anyone new in the neighborhood. Women’s Rosh Chodesh Shiurim A new and exciting speaker gives a once monthly shiur. Contact Chaya Schwartz (201-928-1072) for sponsorship opportunities and events details. Golden Cards These cards are a perfect way to make a donation in honor or in memory of a lifecycle event. Cards can be purchased and sent on your behalf or can be bought in bulk. Contact Debby at the CBY office (201-836-8916) for more information. Meals for Moms While this exciting time is quite joyous, it can also be overwhelming for a new mom. This program offers one week of hot fresh meals to help take a load off. Rosh Hashana Greetings A fantastic way to wish your family and friends in the community a Shanah Tovah. Rosh Hashana Honey Sale Enjoy a bottle of one of many varieties of delicious gourmet honey or choose the gift wrap option and share! Chanukah Boutique An opportunity to shop and schmooze while supporting Bnot. Mishloach Manot Enhance Purim by sharing it with the Bnai Yeshurun family. Purim Chagigah Join us for an evening of family and fun including an animated Megillah reading, carnival, crafts, prizes and delicious food. Pesach Wine Sale A convenient way to purchase your pre-Pesach wine selections while supporting Bnot. Shavuos Bake Sale Bake a cake, buy a cake! Enjoy some of the delicacies your community members have made and get a chance to showcase your favorites while supporting Bnot. Cooking Demonstrations A fun and entertaining way to get together in a social setting as well as learn and share recipes and techniques.
