Funeral & Shiva Announcement - March 14 |
We regret to inform you of the passing of Ruth Plaut, beloved mother of our members Sandy Bodenheimer and Judy Goldsmith.
The funeral will take place tomorrow, Tuesday, March 15, at 11:30 AM at Gutterman- Musicant Funeral Home in Hackensack.
Shiva will begin Tuesday at 630 Fort Washington Ave., Apt 5A, in Washington Heights.
Shiva will continue at the Goldsmith residence, 550 N. Forest Dr. in Teaneck, on Wednesday morning, through next Monday morning, March 21.
Please be mindful of the special halachot regarding shiva visits on Purim and Shushan Purim.
Please do not visit between 6:00 PM- 6:30 PM to allow the family time for dinner, nor after 10:00 PM.

We regret to inform you of the passing of David Moskowitz, beloved father of our member Ruth Goldberg.
The funeral will take place today, Wednesday, at 12:45 PM at Sinai Chapels, 165 St. and Horace Harding Pkwy, Fresh Meadows, Queens.
Shiva will be observed at the Goldberg residence, 661 Rutland Ave., through Tuesday morning, March 15.

We regret to inform you of the tragic passing of Ilan Tokayer, beloved son of our members Reva and Aaron Tokayer, and brother of Danelle, Noam, and Yaron.
The funeral took place earlier today in Israel.
Shiva will begin at the home of Shoshana and Chuck Levine, 66 (new)/58 (old) Rechov Shimon, corner of Rechov Naftali, Givat Sharet, Bet Shemesh through Tuesday night, March 8 at 9:00 PM. The phone numbers at the Levine home are 02-999-2670, and 201-379-5064.
Shiva will resume at the Tokayer home, 630 Grenville Avenue, beginning Wednesday morning through Sunday morning.

We regret to inform you of the passing of Leon Parmett, beloved father of our member, Dr. Steven Parmett.
The funeral will take place today, Monday Feb. 28, at 3:00PM at Hellman Memorial Chapels, 15 State Street, Spring Valley, NY. 845-356-8600.
The burial will take place in Buffalo NY.
Steven will be returning to Teaneck and will begin sitting shiva in his home at 572 Warwick Street, Wednesday morning, through Monday morning, March 7.

We regret to inform you of the passing of Anita Dougherty, beloved sister of our member, Jay Knopf.
The funeral will take place Sunday, Feb. 27, at 10 AM at I. J. Morris, 21 East Deer Park Road, Dix Hills, NY. 631-499-6060.
Internment will follow in New Montefiore Cemetery in Farmingdale, NY.
Jay will begin shiva on Sunday at the Dougherty residence, 6 Meadowrue Lane, East Northport, NY 11731.
On Tuesday afternoon at 5 PM, Jay will begin sitting shiva at his home at 546 Wilmerding Avenue (corner of Kensington and Sunderland), Teaneck.
