Elysia Stein Executive Director

Elysia joined Congregation Bnai Yeshurun as Executive Director in February of 2017. She began her professional career at Yeshiva University (YU) where she served in a variety of roles over 9 years, with 6 of those focused on coordinating a fellowship program for emerging Jewish professional and communal leaders. Elysia received both her Bachelor of Arts in American Studies and Associate of Arts in Judaic Studies from YU’s Stern College for Women and completed her Master’s in Public Administration and Non-Profit Management from New York University’s Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service. She and her husband, Marc, live in Bergenfield and are the proud parents of Abigail and Rebecca.
