High Holidays Babysitting 5785

The David Frohlich z"l Youth Department is happy to announce that High Holiday youth babysitting will be offered again this year on Rosh HaShanah and Yom Kippur. Please register your children and/or grandchildren by Wednesday, September 4, 2024. Unfortunately, no late registrations will be accepted.

  • Babysitting will be available for children 3 years old (must be FULLY potty trained) through ENTERING 4th grade this school year. Being that space is limited, spots will be available on a first come, first served, basis of the registration form.
  • Our program will run both days of Rosh HaShanah from 9:00 am until the end of the New Main minyan: this will include tefillah, organized activities, snacks, as well as singing and movement classes. On Yom Kippur, there will be supervised play/babysitting available during Kol Nidrei and Neilah. During the day, we will be having our youth program from 9:00 am until the end of the New Main minyan.
  • The cost of registration for High Holiday babysitting is included with the purchase of your High Holiday seats. If you would like to make a donation to help offset the cost of this programming, please contact the Shul Office.

Registering in advance allows us to coordinate with our staff. Additionally, a listing of each child's allergies as well as parents' davening locations are prepared in advance and provided to an adult representative in case of an emergency.

REGISTRATION CLOSES SEPTEMBER 4, 2024.

REQUESTS AFTER THAT DATE WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Important Notes:

PARENTAL PRESENCE: A child is only permitted to participate in youth groups if the child's designated parent/guardian is present on the CBY property. If the designated guardian/s must leave the property, the children must be taken with them as well.

BRING YOUR OWN LUNCH: While nut-free snacks, treats, and drinks will be provided, parents must provide a non-perishable (we will not be able to provide refrigeration), nut-free, LABELED, lunch for each participant.

RESPECT: In the event that a child or parent isn't able to SAFELY or RESPECTFULLY participate in shul youth programming, the CBY Youth Committee reserves the right to immediately send children home with their parents. Please properly brief your children beforehand; all rules and instructions must be followed.

If you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact us at youth@bnaiyeshurun.org.

Shana Tovah!
